Wrightsville Beach takes great pride in their back-to-back Regional Champion competition team. Your support allows the comp team to do what they love- compete and represent the best beach on the Southeast!

The WBOR competition team has been around since approximately 2002. This lifeguard sport allows WB guards to practice and improve their lifesaving skills, while competing against local, regional, and national beaches! Lifeguards of all ages spend countless hours preparing and training for these events.

-Local Competition between Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, and Kure Beach. Held weekly in June
-Regional Competition: July 12th & 13th at Carolina Beach, NC
-National Competition: August 10th, 11th, & 12th at Virginia Beach
