The Captain Jeremy Owens Junior Lifeguard Program
The Captain Jeremy Owens Junior Lifeguard Camp is offered for one week, three times every summer (1 week in June, July, and August). This program teaches kids from the ages of 9-17 the basics of being an ocean rescue lifeguard, including CPR, basic medical care, rescues, surfing, identifying rip currents, and of course, fun! The camp was named after Captain Jeremy Owens (lifeguard Captain from 2005-2020) after his passing in 2020. Your support helps us run the lifeguard camp every summer, allowing us to influence the younger generation and community on how to be safer at the beach.
